I went from an average ASUS gaming computer to an Alienware that I personally hate. I got the Alienware for a great deal with a Core i7 overclocked to 4.2 GHz which was good for me seeming that I edited a lot. Anyway, I bought the Alienware because I wanted to try out their product and let me say this right now, I will never buy anything from them ever again. I am currently working on building a new computer, here are the specs.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Case: Corsair Graphite Series 230T
CPU: Intel Core i7 4930K @ 3.4 GHz [Soon to be @ 4GHz]
Memory: 16 GB Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM
GPU: Nvidia GTX 780 3 GB [Possibly SLI]
Board: Asus Sabertooth X79
PSU: 850 Watt XFX Core Edition [ Possibly 1000 Watt AZZA Titan for SLI]
HDD: 2 TB Hard Drive
Optical Drive: Asus 24x Double Layer

I would imagine a thread like this has been made somewhere in time on these forums (+1 if you link me to the original thread). Nevertheless, in this thread, post your PC specifications. If you want to include your full build layout, then that's fine, but aim more for vital PC parts (like CPU, GPU, etc).

Mine are;
CPU: Intel Core i7 3960X @ 3.9 GHz
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX Titan
Case: Corsair 900D
RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 2x8GB
HDD: Western Digital Black 2TB
PSU: Corsair AX760 Platinum
(I do editing so that's why I have a semi-workstation build for my rig)

Ikr, plus Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM is very expensive and if I'm correct its one of the worlds fastest performance memory.

I saved up for years to buy that rig mind you- it end up costing me about $2700 all in all, which is really cheap considering the CPU and GPU both go for 1k a pop nowadays.
