funnyaw you would've gotten elite .
that'd be a great idea so that just because a good clan is new doesn't mean they need to win 27 battles to hit number 1Say everyone starts at 1600 rating. Team 1 (1600) vs team 2 (1600)
Team 1 gains 20 rating for winning
Team 2 loses 20 rating for losing.
Team 1 (1620) vs team 3 (1600)
Team 1 gains 18 rating for winning,
Team 2 loses 18 rating for losing
A few matches later..
Team 1 (1720) vs team 2 (1580)
Team 1 gains 8 rating for winning
Team 2 loses 8 rating for losing.
Team 1 (1728) vs team 3 (1582)
Team 3 gains 42 rating for winning.
Team 1 loses 42 rating for losing.
The farther the gap between the teams' rating is the more rating you'll win / lose. You would calculate exactly how much each team loses by a rating calculator. (Look up "elo calculator")
Pretty much like the old roxbot rating, league, or Badlion's elo system rn.
It would also mean low ranked teams could spam challenge higher ranked teams until they eventually lost. If they're only gaining 8 points per victory and losing 42 per loss, they would have to win A LOT to even break even. Eventually they're going to run into bad luck and lose a battle, and they'll lose way too many points when they do.that'd be a great idea so that just because a good clan is new doesn't mean they need to win 27 battles to hit number 1
Rest in bacca.TeamClenchables Disbanded .-.
Ty that makes sense. It would also mean low ranked teams could spam challenge higher ranked teams until they eventually lost. Eventually they're going to run into bad luck and lose a battle, and they'll lose way too many points when they do.
That being said, we are considering new ways of structuring the leaderboards.
