5 months? Holy guacamole.
Our longest holidays in Australia are 6 weeks over Christmas. Inbetween the terms it's 9-11 weeks school then 2 weeks holidays.

I got out of school June 25th and I go back September 3rd. My summer felt shorter than it really was because I wasted more than half of it on a guy.

I got out June 11th, starting back on the 18th. ;( I so scurred of high school.

High school is fun, lots of banter if you're somewhat outgoing
