How do you fall asleep?

I usually just lay in bed for hours until I'm so tired that my eyes can't handle my tiredness! I tend to lucid dream quite often too! Anyone else that have lucid dreams?

I read one of those Tumblr-y posts about lucid dreaming, and I got really frightened because they said you could suffer sleep paralysis, which I have experienced before and is really scary :s

I would like to try it out someday, I just don't know how to do it
And I'd probably dream about myself on the computer cuz I have the most dull mind ever

I forgot to say that I've never had a nightmare! I have no idea how it is to have a nightmare. Is it scary?

Usually I call someone on skype or get on teamspeak and have that person talk me to sleep.
