So I have been in Maine for a out 6 months now (olive in Sam Francisco) while I was here I was messaged on Skype To go get a free optifine cape. I went to the link and being the derp I am gave them my email and password.
Then about a week later HashtagForTheWin spots me on the forums and see that I have deranked tribute on my stat card I see that and I do some research and over the time I'm gone I had been banned for being an alt to a previously banned player. So I panicked and I wrote a proper well written ban dispute I was turned Down and told to find proof that my account was stolen by mc alts when I filled out the optifine cape thing. I don't know where to get proof though because mcalts does not keep logs for people to see.

Is it in your history? Do you know the person who stole your account? If you can get evidence of someone saying they hacked your account you should be good.

That's what I told everyone in the skype chat lol. Why would someone giving you a cape need your e-mail and password? All they would need is an IGN.

This whole story sounds fishy to me. He might have been banned for good reason. I mean would someone really give another person their password?

He thought he was getting a cape in return... But trust me, he's across the country from where he actually lives so he couldn't have been for hacking

said get a free cape so I seeped out and did it then patrickfalcon told me that it was not a optifine and it was for mcalts. Then the next day someone tried to change my security questions and so I changed the password.
