Teaming up = Ruining my experience

If there is some way to stop people from teaming up I would like to see it implemented. Personally, I'm tired of seeing people grouping up and holding off the cornucopia. When I started playing Survival Games, I didn't think I would see a bunch of people teaming up. I thought is was going to be me in a FFA match trying to keep myself alive while destroying my foes/friends(we never team and always play against each other). It's just irritating to me, so if at all possible, please find a way to solve this.

It's not existing a real way of making that happen and i don't think it's a problem.

Well if there is no way to really stop them then that's that. It's just a bit annoying seeing 3-5 people team up and hold off the cornucopia until the end.

I can see how this makes some people upset but I don't see a reason to get rid of it. It is part of the game to try and find allies to group up with to have a better chance of survival. Not being in a group doesn't mean you cannot win, yes it is tougher but I think of it as more of a challenge. Now you have to outsmart that group by doing some tactical maneuvering or surprising them (just an opinion).

Also, I don't think there is a way to stop people from grouping. There is no plugin or way to force someone to attack someone. People can just walk together and attack other people, there is no way of stopping that. Its not even like they can make you get less points for killing people if you are in a group, because there are no plugins out there (correct me if I am wrong) that can detect if you are in a group or not without doing commands like "/join group B" or something of that nature.

Yes, it sucks getting ganked by a group of 3 when you are solo. It's just something we have to deal with.

I manage to kill teams of 3-6 with just a stone axe and leather armor.
You just got to keep on moving and focus on everyone instead of one person and try to
get them to attack eachother.

while i think that removing teams would do more harm than good, not only do teams make it harder for the player, but makes the game last forever, I was on a game once that had an 8 man team, and there is no way that someone with an iron sword and leather armor could beat 8 guys, all with full iron and many with diamond swords. (unless they really really suck), and extends the game while they run around for that one lone guy left. that said i don't think they can do anything about it, without causing serious problems.

It all comes down to one thing, who's the better player. I use a tactic I learned from mirrors edge - Get them alone. If I can take out one of team of 3, thats all of the dead tributes items and my skill vs the two panicing, concered living team members. It all depends on who the better player is, you have to have a strategy and stay cool under pressure.

Not always the better player wins, lag has had me being slaughtered many times while being in generally better gear than my opponent. You might say that this means they are more skillful, i say my connection reduces my skill.
but i do understand where you're coming from, it takes tactics and skill to out manouvre a large group and i love watching these fights pan out!
