If you're friends with the staff and you're popular and cause a lot of drama about leaving, they will by dying to want you back!
However, if you're some randy who does the same thing, you get banned for not being popular enough.

Of course there would be lenience in Lovelight's case, as he attracts lots of new players, resulting in revenue etc, but it should not be the case that rules are altered so they can break them and get away with it.

I dont want to start anything here, so I'll let the thread stay on topic.

I can't say much regarding the LoveLights issue because I don't know if the case is closed, OR EVEN IF THERE IS A CASE! But in a very vague way, popular/well known/contributing members technically "get to stay" in the community, While the less popular ones get to "deserve" the punishment.

Rather ridiculous right? But this happens in reality, and it needs to stop.

One thing that anyways me in this community, is that you have got to be popular, to voice out your opinion and effectively and successfully change the community. E.g - moderator VIP etc.

This relates to this case because LoveLights did something, THAT PEOPLE recognised, BUT panda made a difference as well, BUT HE ISNT POPULAR THEREFORE NO ONE KNOWS HIM AND WHAT HES DONE TO CHANGE MCSG. That's unfair, you know it is! This needs to stop.

Mcsg is all for equality right? Bout time you did something about it then...

Well he got a chance to be mod, so why shouldn't Panda. He could do just as good as Love.
Because in this case Love has proven himself, as to where Panda has the chance of not being as skilled due to the ban. I am not saying this is the case, I'm sure he would be a great moderator and there should be a system around this. I am simply saying having yet to prove yourself and already proving yourself are two different things. Also Lovelights has build Valleyside and has brought attention to MCGamer with his Youtube, so those are the other reasons in my original statement.

At the end of the day he is just a normal player. But I am not here to argue about this. I would like to leave respectfully.
You're right, he was a normal player, but he was also a player who had the chance to make a change in the community. I'm sure you would have the same opportunity if you were to become a moderator, it just hasn't happened yet. It stinks that the whole IP thing had to ensue, but maybe you can wait to see if they bring the exception idea in to consideration.
