Graphics/Rendering Build Help

Hey there,
There comes a time in every stock laptop's life where it bends down on it's knees and dies. Well, my laptop's about to hit that stage.

I do alot of gfx/vfx work using Cinema 4D/After Effects/Photoshop and my laptop just won't cut it. If anyone has suggestions for builds within the $1200 - $1700 NZD (New Zealand Dollar) that are great for rendering, please leave a post c:.

Thanks,
- Damien / Teepwn

I'd suggest to get a powerfull desktop for rendering etc. and just keep the laptop to work out a project. Just drop the files over to the desktop when you are ready to render it.

I recommend a LG 2011 Hydra Watt microwave. I heard those are pretty good, I'm actually looking at getting one myself.
