Hey, guys! In the next coming weeks I am going to be setting up a Minecraft Ultra Hard Core competition. I was wondering if anyone here is interested in competing in one of these competitions. We’re going to be running it on my server, the Kastle, and I will be accepting team applications up until the end of July 2014. Ultra Hard Core is this really awesome game that normally is like a huge event amongst a big group since these games are so long (normally near to two hours, and some times even longer than that!). If you don’t know how to play or are asking what is Ultra Hard Core, I suggest you look it up on YouTube, because it is a favorite of mini-games amongst YouTubers (a lot of times these are really big events where a lot of YouTubers get together and play it). I’m really excited about hosting one of these competitions, and I would appreciate as many applications as possible. Keep in mind that spots are limited, so verify with your teammates and get your applications in as soon as possible!
How to apply:
You will be applying in teams of three (three players for each team). One person cannot be on multiple teams *duh*, each team must have a team leader. If a member of a team cannot show up on the date of the competition (dates will be announced later depending on the amount of applications), the team can still compete, but will have a major disadvantage as they are a player down. There are likely going to be about ten teams of three. Also, if at least one member of your team is a Minecraft YouTuber, it would be very preferable if he recorded the competition. That would be awesome! If I have too many team applications, there are likely going to be Battle Dome competitions held before the actual UHC event in order to see which teams can win their spots. Send me an email to this address: [email protected] with your team name, leader, and a few sentences on why I should put your team into the competition.
Other info:
My friends and I will fill up two, maybe three teams in the competition, so there may be really only seven spaces available. Now, this is very unlikely, but if you cannot find yourself a team, I may be able to put you with a couple other people and make up a team. Same goes for the people who can only find one other teammate and need one more. Once again, it is very unlikely I will be able to find you a team, so if at all possible, if you want to apply, do so with a full team. On the day of the actual UHC competition, there will likely be a ten to fifteen minute wait before the competition starts. TOTAL COOPERATION from EVERY TEAMMATE is absolutely without a doubt required. That basically means no screwing around, and if you’re mature enough to be in this competition, I’m pretty sure you know what that means. If the server gives you a command through the chat, you obey it immediately, or I will kick you from the competition (sorry to be so strict, but I need to make sure that no one messes this up, because only a few people can bring down the entire thing). After you have sent me your application email (email address above), I will send you back another email with more info about the competition including the server ip.
Ultra Hard Core Rules & Basic Summary:
We’ll go over the rules once more before the actual competition starts, but it is strongly recommended you actually know how to play the game before you just jump right in -
There are several things that will work differently then explained in the video obviously, but the basic concept of the game and the rules were given in this video. Clearly, not everyone here is going to be recording this competition, so you can’t really say “Goodbye to your viewers” before leaving the game, but you must make a quick departure. No cheating as a spectator for your friends or anything. Also, no one will have op enabled except for me (not even my own brother), so there is going to be no questions asked regarding that.
I think we’ve basically covered everything. I hope to see your applications! J
