Because he was the maker of the map that has been very successful. Im not saying other people cant be credited on other maps but I think this is a good idea

I just feel like it's kinda unnecessary...

Naa naa every retiring map maker/ex-mod/10K youtuber doesn't have as amazing story as this one is (;

But they also aren't evading a ban...

Not saying I hate him or anything, I don't really have anything against him, but it's true.

In my opinion, he isn't evading ban in any way, in fact, he is ready to face the consiquences by revealing that his first account was banned permanently.

You have your own opinion, and I have mine. I think a statue of a person I look up to in every way would be cool :3

I honestly agree now that I think about it. It's reward enough that I almost know for sure they won't ban love due to a major uproar from the community that it'd cause. He doesn't need a memorial. I've known he was a banned alt for months. Ik didn't know about him being kosmish, but whatever I saw this whole scenario coming.

Now he accepts the consequences, which is good, but he evaded a ban by making a new account in the first place. It'd be kinda cool I guess, but I don't think everyone I look up to needs a statue.
