ok then thank you, im not going to lie i wrote a massive paragraph about it but it was all bull. so i really did it so it would look better on my profile. so i did it all for myself and myself alone. i wanted to be known but most of all i just wanted to be respected by my peers instead of getting the cold shoulder or yuck who are you i wanted to be respected. because to me when a man isnt respected what else does he really have.

Well, just saying, if you want to be respected here, like said above multiple times before, making well, thought out, helpful posts can get you respect here on MCSG. It'll help you look better by thinking of these, and we always could use another helpful person here.

To get respected I believe the best option is to simply post thoughtful, helpful posts. They will get you likes, don't worry about that.

I'm happy you have achieved so much in your life! You seem extremely experienced within the martial arts category, sad to say I don't think I've accomplished as much as you did, although it is in fact my responsibility, to take care of this community, and disrespecting our players, and our staff members is definitely not appreciated, and could end up in termination of your forum account. If you want to be well known in our community, perhaps try creating guides, polls, small questions, and being active will get you known, and likes on the forums.

Likes.
What do they represent, and what are they supposed to represent?
As of right now, the Top Likes page is dominated by people who get like-spammed and like-botted. Followed by that, it's more of the people who post useful, helpful posts and actually contribute to the discussion side of MCSG.
Likes, as it stands, are quite useless in large forms. If you want to be recognized, having a ton of likes isn't the proper way to go about it, in my opinion. Sure you might get some spotlight attention, but it's a tainted light.
The original intent behind them was to show who posted content that was most appreciated by the community. Whether it be humor, helpful, or just downright astounding in every way, likes would be given by the community in order to show their appreciation for a post.

I'll admit, I get likespammed once in a while. There's someone who insists on having liked every single one of my statuses, and I don't know why. It's actually confusing, but it's given me like two hundred likes. ._. I've asked them to stop, but they won't. It's their choice, I'm not going to force them.

Honestly, TicklishCreeper has done this so many times now, he needs to be warned by mods. The same thing happens every time. He makes a thread, someone disagrees with him, and he goes mental and talks about how great he is at wrestling and how the person who insulted him just sits at his computer, and that he could beat him up any day. Please could a staff member tell him that mindlessly insulting anyone that disagrees with him is not allowed, nor does it make people like you.

And from me? TicklishCreeper ; Honestly, stop. You seem so stuck up. You have achieved something in life, good for you. I've done some pretty cool stuff, I don't go bragging about it at every opportunity, nor do I insult anyone who dares disagree with the great I_love_desk himself. You are not the centre of the world. Most of the best people and sportsmen are humble. Most well-liked people are humble. You are not, and you are slowly turning everyone on the forums against you. Basically, stahp.

I'm gonna state my opinion on this.

I don't like "Like for Likes" things. I don't like "Like Spams".
Have a look at Mooclan, he has a great "Message:Like" ratio.
Do you wanna know why? He posts helpful, meaningful posts that gives him legit likes.

I think your likes should reflect your posts. You should look at somone's likes and think, "Yeah, he posts helpful, good things."
That is about it.

Last Question from me.
What do you get out of getting fake likes? Do you feel proud? Why do you want those fake likes?
