The Mentorship - Project

As there are many really good pvpers on MCSG but also a few loyal players,
who aren't too good at pvp and wish to get better (including myself ), I got the idea to start a new project on MCSG, called:​

I thought it would be cool to make a list of volunteer mentors, who are willing to have 1-4 tributes, which they will train.​

How this training looks like is up to them.

Just a few ideas:

- give eachother the skype to stay in contact easily
- meet eachother on practice servers (just like 1v1's etc.)
- play games together on MCSG / share routes with the tribute

Well, there are several reasons:

- do you remember the times when you weren't as pro as you are right now, the times when you didn't know most of the pvp tricks, you know now?
- Well... many players could be much better with a little help from a good player.
- In my opinion this would make MCSG a even better place, than it already is, as it supports the
relationship between players
- it gives both sides a chance to make new friends (added by Sean)
- just use your skills to help others

If you are good at pvp and want to become a Mentor, just post your IGN and the region, you are playing on, in a reply to this thread. If you want to, you can add a (short!) information about you or whatever you want.

Info: I am 13, and I am good at Strafing, and decent at the bow, and I know most of the other PvP things I.E. rod/FnS, I can still improve while helping others.
I guess I'll be a mentor even tho my ratio isn't very good, I am still pretty good at PVP, and hey, maybe I'll learn something from this!

that's true I will add it
I hope a few people will become Mentors because I think some good players don't see themselves as good pvpers, what they actually are.

I think it's a fantastic idea ! The only problem is that I think most forumers already know most of the tricks :/ I could be wrong though...

also you should have what region you apply from since mentors would only play on their region..

If you are ok with seeing everyone your skype, I can add it. But I think it's enough to only give it to your tributes, as soon as you picked someone who replied.

I recall a similar idea trying to happen a couple of months ago. I don't think it ever really took off, but it's still a good idea nonetheless. Good luck!

yeah it could be a good idea but I think the problem is, that noone knows ... :/
