Mobs?!

I was just playing a nice cruisy game on Survival Games 3 then I saw a spider! I thought mobs were taken put of the game? I was surprised at this so I tool a couple of screenshots, but I was certain that you guys took them out of the Survival Games.

I have also noticed skeletons on the map Kharmunrah shotting tributes while still on there podiums but I havent managed to get screenshots of that though.

They spawn only in pre-game, as far as I know.

Mobs spawn on certain maps. I guess SG3 is one of those.

i think you should have mobs spawning on every map everytime in a game, that where much more of a challenge

We would have done so, but a lot of our players don't want to have mobs, since they find it too hard with mobs....

In one game i was in on kharmunrah a creeper spawned right by a guy on the podiums and blew up as soon as the game started

hehe, the game weren't in his favor then

We would have done so, but a lot of our players don't want to have mobs, since they find it too hard with mobs....

but the difficulty was what made it so darn fun. Even the tributes that got full iron and diamond swords had to watch themselves while out hunting otherwise they would get picked off by mobs.

Like, people have even been dying by skeletons shotting them just as the game starts, so thats not really fair on them is it.

Mobs have been reimplemented. However, they only spawn on specific maps and have a greatly reduced spawn rate.
