straight up, mcsg used to be the most fun thing in the world, i don't need to go into details, but we all know that the community is struggling in ways, two of the most popular pvping youtubers that played this have both now officially quit. but that's not the downpour

what happened is, the community got sour and everyone knows it, I used to be able to hop on the TS and go play with ransoms who were nice and up for it, today if I joined a channel I would be immediately harrassed for being a squeaker, that happens everywhere, but this isn't intended at me, it's for everyone, i don't want to uprise against the community, I haven't played in months, but I feel sad, when just hello hosted clan wars

I had a blast, it was all the old time players! I remembered clan wars season 1, I was coming home from a baseball game to play in Cw, I was in a randy clan facing he hurricanes, and boy just thinking about this makes me want to go back,

this server have me so many specialt memories that were soiled by selfish people who thought they were being funny, if I said I wasn't one at times, I would be a hypocrite, I mean I said some pretty mean things, but I never kicked anyone offline, I mean let's look at people, for example: Kranzo, when I first met him he was actually pretty cool, I was even in his old old OLD clan named Relentless, I mean he was so cool, then he got banned and it just went down from there, and I gurantee you deep down inside, he wishes he could go back and be liked again. xSwagGiraffe: deep down he's a really cool hilarious guy, I mean he made a mistake and got punished for it, he deserved it, but take this lifetime personality out of the community because he made one mistake? I've done worse things and I've evaded any issues!

I mean why can't we go back and live the olden days? because that's the past. and the only thing we can fix is the present, so I ask of everyone to be nicer people to everyone I think it's not asking much of people but seriously guys I saw a really inspirational video today, and it showed that people with the least, give the most here's the video and I would really like it if people just started being nicer to people, help eachother out, were a growing community with plenty of issues, but we have many many positives that help us thrive,

I absoutley agree with this 100% as the community has grown and changed, people's perspectives have changed and been influenced by those with whome they associate with, and it's not always positive, keep that in mind!

First, Huahwi didn't officially quit if that's who you were talking about, and Toxic, he wasn't enjoying it anymore, give him a break, he got a new hobby which was Skateboarding.

I totally agree with you here.

Anyways, I think we should just look at the bright part of things, and in the future, hopefully look back and say... "Why can't the community come back to the way it was in 2014."

I can totally relate to this one.
Though this is a bit different than what you just told, but when I want to meet new people on the TeamSpeak, and I join a random channel with people I've never met, and I'm like 'Hey guys, what are you playing?' They immediately go 'Oh god, poke a mod to get this guy..'
Why..?! What is the point of doing that? If you wanted to play privately with your friend, why not join a private channel, huh?
If someone joined my channel I would be absolutely flattered and up for getting to know this guy, and when this has happened, we've always had a blast playing with them!

I think it's that the community is getting stressed (I guess) because all the hackers, staff issues or whatever and all the flaws in the system. They get more aggressive, in-game as well as the forums.. In my opinion, if you can not play the game for fun, you shouldn't be here!
If you die to a team of three hackers, maybe go outside and have a life instead of smashing your 100$ Razer Keyboard your mom bought you.
I'm just giving out options here.

To sum this up:
- Prepare for someone to join 'your' TS channel, you are not gonna call the police if someone talks to you in real life, are you?
-And don't get mad about the game, get a new, less intense hobby if this is too much for your little brains.

I took this game very seriously about a year ago, then I realized that I'm supposed to have fun with this thing and now do what makes me happy in the game, whether it's winning, trolling,flying with a tractor, you name it biaaatch.

I remember my first day on teamspeak

I hopped on as a nub, and everyone was so nice and non excluding. Everyday held a new challenge and i remember scrimming all day. I hung out with this clan all summer and finally got accepted after being denied once. I wish double tapping was still around ;-; then their were good pvpers / okay pvpers / bad pvpers back in the old days. I really want this community to change

Some of the bad things we now know plague the servers today (for example; trash talking) are biproducts of MCSG's naturally competitive nature. It was up to the community whether they wanted to act as an 'amplifier' to this effect.
