How about this:
this is the corn for my second map, I hope its decent. All the pedestals are equal, and NOBODY gets an advantage, you might point out that something may look out of place but trust me, they work perfectly. (oh and if you're wondering, the iron thing above the chests is the dead zone).

Well an actual functioning map would be impossible, not just making what it looks like. It's impossible to actually make it turn and have a different disaster in each timezone.

This is amazing, unlike the previous designs of the Cornucopia. In this one, every tribute will have equalised access to the 'platforms'. Nice work.

Well an actual functioning map would be impossible, not just making what it looks like. It's impossible to actually make it turn and have a different disaster in each timezone.
It would be almost possible, you would have to calculate how many ticks are in a day and then divide that into 12 and turn it into a redstone clock. After that you would have to create 12 different disasters E.G a flood with water buckets in dispensers. but if you wanted something like jabberjays, that would be impossible as they do not exist in minecraft.

as for turning, it turns? (I know the part where it spins in the book but that's not too important anyway).

I would love to see the disaster system you speak of. However, sadly, theres a lot of problems with heavy redstone and servers right now. I do not think it would work as well as it should. The redstone itself is simple, even though a day is way too much considering a normal SG game lasts about one and a half ingame day.

I won't include redstone as it will cause lag on certain computers making it unfair. :/ sorry
