So basically, I want to clean out my disk of unused files. I read a bit, and figured out that I already had Disk Cleanup installed. So when I ran it, it searched for a few minutes, then came up with the data. It said that I can clear 4.36 GB's of space, which confuses me because the sticker that came on my laptop says "4 GB DDR3 Memory". Anways, on the page, only a few things came checked. The one that didnt, was Temporary Files. That had over 3GB of data. Is it save to check that? Or will that delete all data on my computer?
Heres a screenshot of what im seeing:

Is there anything super important in their though?
It is harmless deleting your temporary files unless you have configured your computer to work in a certain way, you will know if you have. Personally I wouldn't begin any disk deletion, if you are looking for performance increases then I suggest you defragment your hard drive, this is basically where your computer tidies and logically stores data, making it easier to find.

Why wouldn't you suggest if if there's no harm done in doing it?

Are you trying to get better performance out of your PC? I never said I didn't suggest it, just that you should probably defragment first then delete any unused files. Go ahead a delete the temp files, another thing that helps is going through your program list and deleting any unused programs.

So when you download, move and save files the computer saves them in different places on the disk. After this happening for awhile your files become cluttered and the computer has to search a larger virtual area to find them. By de-fragmenting, the PC is cleaning it's mess up and re-organising the files so in the future it can find them easier. To de-fragment your hard drive click Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Defragmenter.
