Hi there, As you can tell Funimation pushed SAO earlier than expected, The release date has been changed to the 5th of July instead of the 7th of July.
Here is the story line behind SAO:
In a virtual world were you can move and eat and talk in video games, the release date of Sword Art Online was a big move in the world, Kirigaya Kazuto (桐ヶ谷 和人 was just a boy who played a lot of video games (he had a triple monitor setup o.o). One day he got on SAO and met a friend named Tsuboi Ryoutarou, who was a newbie, Kirito or Kazuto was a ex-beta tester that went to floors in the Virtual world that no one could achieve. While everyone was trying to find the Floor 1 boss the people of the City Of Beginnings were setting up a plan, while matching up with someone else, Kirito picked a quiet person to the left of him that had a coat on, Later to be relieved as Asuna Yuki a girl he would later fall in love with. As they defeated the boss of the first floor, everyone found out that Kirito was a ex-beta tester and called him a "Beter" (I think i spelled it wrong xD) While on a long adventure through the virtual world, Asuna fell in love with Kirito and Kirito fell in love with Asuna blah blah. Always wanting to be a solo player Kirito was forced to fight the guild leader of the Knights of the Blood Oath. Later to be reviled as Kayaba Akihiko, The owner of the game that trapped everyone in the game for about 2 year's (forgot to explain the trapping part ;-
At the end of the Sword Art Online world, Kirito since knew for a long time that Heathcliff the leader of the Knight's of the Blood Oath was Kayaba Akihiko disguised, after like the 90th floor boss, Kirito attacked him and he showed us a immortal object, then fighting him, while losing Heathcliff tried to finish Kirito but Asuna jumped in and Died taking the hit for her love, Kirito pissed did some magic thingy while dying to not die and killed Kayaba, Then while the world was being deleted he exlained why, Asuna didn't die but was still locked in a Coma and Kirito came back to his regular self, Later Agil one of Kirito's friends shows him a picture of Asuna trapped in some cage in a game named "I don't know it's name xD" ( I don't feel like explaining this but) Kirito finds Asuna and meets with his virtual daughter "Yui" and rescues her. Later fighting Sugou and beating him, the 300 brains that were held were returned back to the kids and other people, While running back to the hospital were Asuna was held Sugou stabbed Kirito in the parking lot and then fought each other, he won and Sugou went to jail and then Kirito finally meet her kissed her and went to school together.

I know I missed some what a little info on the story line but It's okay if anyone wants to finish some details like Kirito's Sister is the one of the characters or anything else, This chat is for Sword Art Line Info coming up and just a club about it
