I noticed, as I have been scrolling through the clans and teams section, that about 1/2 of the clans that I have scrolled through have been disbanded. I believe that as a solution to this problem, disbanded clan threads, should be deleted, to decrease clutter in the clans and teams section.
Let me know your thoughts on the subject, as I want to include everyone's opinion, while creating my own.

Well staff probably won't want to delete them. But they could at least lock them. Why not...

That would take an awful lot of time to go through and delete every single clan post, but it's not a bad idea.

But the memories ;-;
I'm not sure everyone wants to remember a clan that lasted 2 hours and did nothing but start a small argument and got closed...

While of course not necessary, it'd be nice if a staff member was willing to go get rid of some clutter so clans looking for battles and stuff could more easily find active opponents.

Instead of deleting them, a different option would be to create a new subforum in the Clans and Teams section specifically for disbanded clans. If a clan disbands, a moderator would simply move the thread to that section, leaving the main section to active clans. This way, disbanded clans can keep their threads (for records and memories sake), as well as decreasing clutter and keeping the section more organized.

Only problem: If a clan wanted to "reband" then they couldn't request the thread to be unlocked.

That idea actually just crossed my mind as well, and I think it would probably be superior to simply deleting them.
