Removement of "Clans and Teams" from Recent Threads

Have you ever noticed how almost every time you join the Forums and look at the 'Recent Threads', all three of them are from the 'Clans and Teams' section? This has begun to get on my nerves, as a retired MCGamer player, I have no intrest in a clan, and I can think of many other people the same. All I actually want, is to find an interesting thread, suggestion or anything really. I was wondering, if there was anything to about this, like maybe block them from the Recent Post section, or anything else. I do understand that this is the XenForo website and only minimal changes can be made, but there many be something to do.

^^ Warning, the last few sentances probably didn't make much sense xD

Oh my god, yes please >_> I can understand it's probably great seeing them nonstop for the few people who actually care to see every clan thread, but I think the majority of us would rather see something different. Seriously, every time I come to check the forums, there's at the least one clan thread in the recent posts.
I agree with your idea.

I disagree. If they are active recent threads, then they deserve to be there. I would much rather see clan threads than waves of "Who is MCSG's best PvP'er" (which is the other type of thread that completely fills the recent threads).

Yeah. I was letting it go until I finally cracked this morning when I came on and all three were clogging it up.

I can see your point, but at least they provide some discussion. I'd be more interested looking at "Who is MCSG's best PVP'er" than seeing who is the latest trial of "The Dinosaurs" (not a real clan I think).

EDIT: Just checked the latest threads, and this is what came up-

Alrighty, well.
*Rubs hands together*
I don't have much time to type because I'm about to go into a League game.

I saw a thread about something similar a long time ago - Removing them from the "What's New?" area. (Also, I believe I made a thread about doing that for Forum Games.)

I have had that thought several times, and I feel that having them removed from the Recent Threads area would be included in having them removed from the What's New category. Both, I strongly agree with.

I myself am a forum member who looks for places where I can contribute and help. I can't really do that on Clan threads... I just simply don't have anything to say unless I'm involved with that clan, and neither do most other people. If I did want to post something, I would just go into the Clans and Teams section. It's really not that hard, and having it bookmarked makes it even easier if I browsed there frequently.
Clans and teams are very restricted - You don't really need to know about them unless you're involved with them or another clan who may be interested in battling or something. Having them in New Posts doesn't really serve much purpose when you compare it to other things like a PSA, a discussion on something, etc.
