MCSG Lobby Complaint!

Hey Baes,

So since they added the new new but old old lobby (if you get what i mean) I've been really annoyed about the amount of lag I get when I join. I'm gonna show you were this lag comes from.
The fences that surround the lobby are total lag machine due to them being half blocks

BTW, I found this...shouldn't it be removed xD

So they are the things that create lag, A LOT! And personally, I'm getting fed up of the lobbies, I also do! We always switch, which is fine, but this time, I want a new one created by someone else than TE or RF, maybe make a contest, get people involved!

So, would anyone be interested in making a lobby/having a contest? I could organize it, but I'd have to get permission from someone!

So do you guys agree/disagree with me? I'd love to know your thoughts!

Well, thank you for pointing out where the lag comes from! Seriously, that stuff kills my computer :'c

As much as I would love to have a Lobby that was not from TE or RF, MCSG's map committee seems to be pretty adamant about that, seeing as the majority of them are FROM TE and RF.

That sign xD how did you even find that and I only get 70fps ingame, and the lobby is like 20. I would love a competition where everyone made lobbies, like they did with the battlegrounds arena. Please let this happen!!!

Yes please! I honestly hate this lobby because of the lag. It is fairly fun to play around in, but I get 4 fps. Yes, 4. I think we need a new lobby, made by a new build team. A good lobby should include:

• Rules
• Some room to run around in
• Good, aesthetic buildings and landscape, but it doesn't have to be big
• No unnecessary blocks that cause lag. In fact, how about a lobby with a glass dome instead of ugly, laggy fence posts or the void?
• Parkour
• Secret hideouts and places to hang out

Lobbies are the one thing that the Hive really has down. They aren't as intricate, but at least they have room to run around and some parkour. Each of their minigames has a good, lag-free lobby. I wish MCSG would be more like that. Also, please don't resurrect an old lobby to give people old-timey feels. It doesn't really work and it is dull and disappointing.

I understand that it causes some lag, and I'd like that to be fixed, but this lobby is loved.
It is almost the first lobby used in MCSG and that means a lot to a lot of people.

I seem to remember a question about the lobby in a Community Focus Group session. I believe Dave said it was Chad's orders to keep the lobby as it is no. I also love the lobby, probably just the nostalgia.

My opinion is, keep the lobby, but remove certain things that may cause lag. (the water etc..)

YES. I get 10-30 fps in the lobby, then go to 100+ ingame usually.

Uh...so what? It's a lobby. Besides, wouldn't it be nice to see something a little different for once? I've beaten all the parkour, seen most if not all the Easter eggs, and I'd love to have something new to explore after so long.

I think they should keep the sign but... THE LOBBY IS WAY TOO DAMN LAGGY! I should try an make a lobby for MCSG and hope it gets accepted
