Mojang's Minecraft EULA and how it affects our servers

TBH I don't even think about the points, since a while ago people got some point glitch, and more points started going around... Anyways, they are points, which aren't too tough to grab.

Only thing I can't comprehend is how Mojang will enforce the EULA. Apparently some of this stuff was in the original EULA and not very many people cared or followed that, and none had been shut down that I know of...

Honestly, the Minecraft server DDoS's are out of hand. Without Mojang, we would have no servers to DDoS. We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them.

Except you can't charge money for in-game currency, so donor point boosts are going to have to go.

Points or "Bounties" are not used to change in-game playing and purely cosmetic. We only consider this as a system to tell who is being active and skill levels. The sponsor system indeed can buy items to give to another player in-game, however free players have the same way to get the points. We are still reviewing this one area, but still seem to be immune to the EULA. We will make necessary changes if needed which really isn't a major change at all.

finally an official thread about this by someone -.- was really getting tired of people claiming that mcsg was going down because of all this. Maybe this will talk some sense into some people.
