Anyways here is my mcsg story guys!
It all started in the summer of 2013, last year. I had broken my leg, and thus I had nothing to do. I had been playing minecraft off and on since the month after it came out, (2009?), and decided that I would play minecraft again, before I could go back outside. So, I had once been a huge yogscast fan, and was going through their old videos. I saw the one that they did with the hunger games, and immediately remembered that I had always wanted to play hunger games on minecraft. So I went on to safari, and searched minecraft hunger games servers, and then found this c:
I just looked for a server, and since I had no idea that eu meant European, played my first game on Eu27.mcsg.in. I started playing about 2 or 3 months before the first hub came out. Well, the map was survival games 2, which I had seen the yogscast play. I walked away from corn, and was on my way. I found a few tier 1s that game, and eventually died. But after that, I have to say I was addicted.
Fast forward a couple of weeks. I have been playing pretty much nonstop, and I am a huge noob. Finally, I get my first win. I find the double tier 1 on valleyside and think I hit the jackpot. I team with the other full-leather in deathmatch, and we take down the 'stacked guy' as I called them then. I was so happy, because then my teammate died from fire damage, and I had won my first game!
Around 2 days later, I had decided to look on the internet to see if anyone made youtube videos on these servers. That's when I found blamph. I think he was on around episode 20 or 30 then(?) and I started watching him everyday, and learning from his tips. Fast forward to the end of summer, and I have played around 1000 games over the summer, and I have around 24 wins. I feel accomplished. One day, I saw a team of people in a game, who were BucketzPVP (bucketz76) and @Tactical_Taco1 . They were a team, and they killed me. In the next lobby, we chatted a little and then said our goodbyes. A few days later, I saw bucketz again, this time when I was teaming with another person, and he was teaming with Ceroria (Vital | ZebraNation ). I asked who he was, and he said a member of his clan, Imperial. I asked if I could join, and they said yes.
