Having issues with Minecraft - help appreciated

I try to start Minecraft today, and this happens:

I had the same issue yesterday, and I restarted my computer and it worked. I did that just now, but it keeps showing up with this.

Any ideas on what the problem is/how to fix it? Help is much appreciated.

Have you tried to remove the whole .minecraft folder and instal minecraft fresh again? If it still happens it's something on your side =\

I re-downloaded the launcher, and it's not showing up with an error now. The launcher is painfully slow to start up and initialise everything now though.
My computer has generally been really quite slow since last night, and that's odd considering I'm running a gaming rig which cost over $2700.

Redownloading the Launcher won't help much, you'll have to completely remove the .minecraft folder. You can save your worlds you've made of course.

It's working now, just pretty slow. I don't know why redownloading the launcher made any difference, but hey, it works, right? ._.

Alright, if it's happening again, please try to completely remove minecraft and install it again, if it doesn't work after that, feel free to make another thread asking for help.
