While it's true that GeForce GPUs are made for playing games, Nvidia cards are known for being multipurpose. They're great for video editing, Photoshopping, and playing games. However, If I had to choose a GeForce card, I'd use an EVGA or an ASUS as those are more directly focussed for playing games.
O_O you realize the only thing evga and asus do to the stock nvidia card is put on a costum cooler and maybe change the clock speeds.

also going to say, while nvidia geforce cards are better than amd cards at adobe applications because of the cuda cores instead of regular shader cords, it doesn't make nvidia cards any worse performers at games than amd cards.

The brand of Geforce card has nothing to do with it's purpose.
MSI, EVGA, GIGABYTE, ASUS, and any other Geforce brand are all designed for gaming.
Geforce cards are designed specifically for gaming.

Computers are weird like that. Ram, or processing power, is called Memory. However, they call hard drives and SSDs storage.
That's because RAM is Random Access Memory :p It doesn't really process anything either, it just loads things that you're using at that moment so they can be accessed faster than off your hard drive. It's basically like short term memory, while your hard drive is like long term memory.

This is a pretty good laptop. It uses an i7, but most laptops do. The GPU is decent, but it is a Nividia card, which tend to not be the most suited for games. So it'll probably heat up a fair bit. You're gonna want to keep it plugged in a lot, as it has a max battery life of 5 hours. Running Minecraft, it'll drain the battery pretty quickly (Think less than 3 hours). Not a bad build indeed. I'd say go for it.

E. I'm not a big fan of Lenovo computers, being an Asus user myself. But this will be a good mid tier gaming laptop. Don't expect too much, don't abuse it too much.
I have a GTX 670 and I run 800 fps :/
