Hello,
I'm SSmunch as a lot of you know. Recently my rank was striped from me, "Friend"
Friend rank was a rank given to retired staff members that fulfilled their duties or had a close relationship with a Sr. Moderator+
Some staff members were offered friend rank after they resigned. When you were offered this rank you knew you did a good job moderating the MCGamer because this didn't come around likely. This rank gave that member pride and sentimental value.
Instead of giving good retired staff members friend as they deserve there getting Platinum, that's alright except donor ranks don't have sentimental value, like friend.
Giving someone an obtainable rank doesn't really feel right, you don't feel any different from anyone else. When you receive Friend you are different, because you get noticed for you're work. As a platinum rank you don't.
Yes Chad never liked the rank, because it was created behind his back. But why delete it now? When so many people had it. You can't just take our pride and think it's alright. We did our jobs, and a good job. Don't we deserve to be recognised?
If your deleting friend why not VIP? Are they any different?
Honestly how would you feel if you were striped of your pride. I just don't understand why you would remove a rank that has created so much sentimental value to people.
