Need Computer Help!

Hi MCGamer community,

I was wondering if you could help with with selection of a pre built pc? I don't have much knowledge of what will deliver my requirements so your help would be really appreciated. I would like the cheapest possible computer that can deliver the requirements I request.

The requirements for the PC are:
• It can run Minecraft with high settings and shaders at 100+ FPS while recording.
• It can play games like G-Mod and DayZ mod version and standalone at great quality.
• It can run 2 monitors.
• Render quickly in Sony Vegas.

I agree with Mooclan, number 2 seems to be the best and it will still run most games you throw at it at full settings at 60 FPS.

I have decided I am going to buy from MSY and I am getting the 2nd package, but what kind of processor and how much RAM would I need for the type of gaming and editing I want to do?

I would say you should get a decent processor like a i-5 processor and for ram start with 8-16 gb of ram

Edit: I fell kinda bad saying this post because I don't know your budget but I've learned that minecraft i think is run of your processor also known as the CPU and the video card one more thing is ram (random access memory) help load things in and out faster. shaders are 100+ FPS while recording.

Even the 3rd one can't handle that, you need at the very least a 770 to get 75-90 depending on the map, which is what I get. If you want to have 100+ while recording, you're going to have to either build it yourself or pay a heavy price for it if you want it prebuilt. If you're going to go prebuilt, I would highly recommend checking this company out: http://www.originpc.com/.

Otherwise if you can live with not being able to play with shaders, go with the second one. It will run everything just fine, although maybe not on ultra settings. To answer your other question, you should get a 3rd or 4th generation i5 processor and you really don't need more than 8 GB of RAM, so go with that. Another 8 is fairly cheap to add later anyways if you feel like you need it.
