I'm not a new player, I play minecraft for like 3 years and I know all of the pvp stragedies because i always watch tutorials and good pvpers videos (GrapeAppleSauce, ThatOneTomahawk, Huahwi, ItsToxicFinest and more...)
But I feel like I'm doing something wrong, whatever I try doesn't work, you can see my statistics: http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/stats/player/iBronzey/
I never win and I don't understand what i'm doing wrong.
I seriously practice A LOT, i have learned the fishing rod technique because everybody uses that and this doesn't work for me either.
my inventory is always clean, i always use f5 mode, but when it comes to pvp i suck.

lol I made this a little bit too dramatic but I'm really frustrated,
BTW i'm really sorry if there are any grammer mistakes, I don't speak English but I tried my best here xD
So any good tips how to get better?

The best way is to practise. Learn to use a Flint and Steel and a Bow. Sword fights usually depend on gear and ping. Very importantly, use your surroundings to your advantage.

Try a whole different way to pvp, example always practice learn some stuff like FnS and Fishing rod. The more you practice, the better you get!

Try practising with the fishing rod on other PvP servers. If you're not very good with it and you really want to win, simply don't use it on MCSG. Unless someone is really good with it, using a fishing rod is a huge waste of hits. Its overrated anyway. I personally rarely ever use it and I don't have any problems killing people who do. Strafing > fishing rod spam

I need my rod whenever I play. I personally think I have mastered it. After mastering it, pvp is easy using it. Hop on some pvp servers and just practice for long amounts of time, click as fast as you can, and focus hard on your opponents. Your pvp skills will get much better.

I don't personally recommend it but if you really want to win play dirty! Block hit, backstab, clean people up, fns spam, whatever. You'll be a scumbag, but a scumbag who wins. Another tip I have is to be conservative, don't go running into a fight that you may not be able to win, but just chill for the deathmatch once you have decent stuff.

I think there are a few key aspects to being good at Survival Games. The biggest, most likely, is PvP. To be good in combat, I'd suggest watching some "Tips and Tricks" videos, and practicing a lot on MCSG, and other servers. Practice makes perfect, so the more you practice and learn more about PvP, the better. The next thing, I think, is knowing where chests are. If you have a route composed of 4 tier one's, even if you are a PvP beast, it's unlikely you'll win. Know the maps, take some time to watch youtubers who have strong routes, learn them yourself. If you have full iron with a diamond sword, it's that much easier to win a game :)

I understand you stated that you practice but just keep trying even more, don't get frustrated over this silly game. If you die, you die just leave at that. At the end of the day you'll end up being a decent player just like any other player who keeps trying. One tip is to try to make up your own way of playing. Not everyone plays the same way, some play offensively while other play defensively, one works better than another depending on the person.

Hey there! Here are some tips you might be able to use if you are going for wins on Survival Games:

  • Try researching a chest route! Knowing the maps and where the chests on the popular maps are is a huge advantage!
  • Gain map knowledge! Learn where the 1 wide or 2 wide areas of the maps are and run to them when you are being chased by a dominant opponent in terms of gear. One you are running through that passgge, all it takes is a simple FNS to subdue your opponent allowing you to her the critical hits you need to win the fight.
  • In terms of the fishing rod technique, the best way to use it for beginners is to: Hit your opponent with the rod when he is approximately 4 blocks away, this will knock them back allowing you to sprint forward and get a critical hit.
I hope this helped!

When you are practicing, try to focus on one thing at a time. I used battlegrounds to get better at sword fighting, and other servers to practice at bow skills and making arrows miss me. I feel that practicing multiple things at once, such as "practice rounds" of mcsg where you are using all your skills at once, just doesn't help a whole lot because you are only using a little bit of everything instead of focusing on one special part of PvP. How you PvP and what your tactics are is up to you, but whatever they are, break it down into simple tasks and practice them one by one instead of all at once.
hope this helped :)
