Trying out a new style

Looking for any suggestions on how to improve this style and coloring I'm working on. Haven't really taken this sort of cartoon style very seriously, so anything helps.

Usually yes, but I messed up the layers so that the eyes were on the same layer as the rest of the lineart, and all the color layers went under it, I'll pay more attention to that next time

Wow, haven't really seen this style before, I love it! Its a great mix between that anime style and minecraft (correct me if i'm wrong ). Only have one thing to say, maybe make the lighter blue shine on the hair in different spots... like I can see you have done one thick line across the hair. Maybe make it so that for each chunk of hair, the shine is in different spots?
If you have no idea what i'm talking about, this big blue line:

Also, if you don't understand me, don't listen sometimes in my head everything seems so clear but when written its all a big blur to other people ​

Ya, it would make more sense to do it that way since parts of the air would be closer to the light source

I've never really seen that much of Minecraft people drawn in an anime-style while keeping some of the blocky-ness. I like it, gives it that little extra charm.
