Thread Clean Up?

Hey Y'all,

So I'm just concerned over how many threads there are on particular sections of the forums, such as clans and teams and even now finished maps section!

Careless people who disband there map creation or take a map and post a thread about it are not thinking about what they are doing which annoys me. Moderators etc just lock the thread, all that says to me is that no one can comment yet people can STILL see it and it makes the section look messy and unorganised.

Can't mods DELETE threads not aren't needed, even without there authorisation?!

I'd like people's thoughts on this!

Very good point. Lots of area's on the forum's are cluttered up with locked, useless threads. Mods should be able to delete old locked threads that are just in the way, but should first contact the owner

What do you mean by owner, chad or the owner of the thread? Because before deleting the thread they always have to ask permission of the owner to delete it, the problem with that is they will be inactive and possibly say no without a point etc :/

I meant the owner of the thread. And you're right, the owner may be inactive. They should PM him, and then give him 10 days or so to respond
