I'm just going to say, I wasn't exactly popular around here, I know. But I wanted to post here and say that I am going to be quitting MCSG for a while. I honestly cannot handle the people that play this game. The arrogant people, which I seem to meet every game. I logged on tonight, first two games I play, this happens. http://imgur.com/a/uVmLx

People will call me weak for leaving just because of people like this. But honestly I just can't take it. I don't mind dying. I don't mind it when someone that I killed sponsors another player so they can kill me. I frikin hate when people call me bad and make fun of me, even if it was a 3v1, they had better gear and they had to eat golden apples. Leave the game, you say? Don't care about it? Yeah, people like to follow me into games and see where I go when they're mad at me. And target me.

Edit: Third attempt at a game, got killed by a player that used kill aura. That's another thing.

I agree with what Zach said. Too many people have been leaving the community due to the arrogant players, hackers, and such. This is why I have my waiting rank. I want to help the community and provide some sort of positive impact as far as the players are concerned. I'm sorry to see you leave due to the blatant immaturity and lack of respect from some players. I hope you will come back someday.

Ok, but I do t think the second guy meant any harm by saying gg... It's a common thing you do out of respect, not arrogance. If you think "good game" is a bad thing to say, what does that say about you character?

I played a game last night for some odd reason, and I ended up winning. After taking out a team of two (miraculously) I wanted to let them know that I enjoyed the fight. But instead of saying, "GF", I said, "Good fight." After I won the game itself, instead of saying, "GG", I said, "Good Game".
That's an easy way to help promote the more friendly usage of the term. If there was a sort of "swear filter" that changed GG to Good Game and GF to Good Fight, along with canceling out words such as Rekt, then there might be a smaller issue with things like that.

I think this is slightly relevant here. If people can actually be bothered to type it out instead of just saying 'GG' then it might look a bit more friendly and honest, rather than arrogant and annoying, like most people take it these days.

No, but... My tactic: don't care. Just type gg back and leave.

However, people only look on situations like that from perspective where they lost versus 2 others. What about when you team with someone and kill someone and then say l2p or gg? Do you really think that? No I guess, many people use this just to be annoying, but using that word would change if someone would just say gg back, then dont care and then leave the game.

Believe me, if you were me right then you would know he meant disrespect. They said more after what you can see in that screenshot, I didn't bother to screenshot it.
