Is there any sort of pattern to chest tiering?

As someone who tiers maps, I personally like to (after selecting precisely how many tier 2's I was going to be placing) find the highest, most dangerous to get to places and put tier 2s there first. Then, I find the more hidden locations and select those as tier twos.. after that, if I have any left, It goes randomly within a decent distance from eachother.
Pfft, does the public ever get to know who tiered Fortune? That entire northeastern quadrant is O.P. as hell lulz.

I've found that skipping corn used to work really well in the past, but ever since they beefed up all the chests, people regularly get full armor + a stone sword right off spawn, and usually kill me while I'm at my first 2 chests. Maybe the idea of skipping a bunch of chests at the start would work, though I still feel like I'm missing a bunch of important loot while doing that.
I'm glad they beefed up the chests! In the movie it was a risk to go to corn because the people who did go would get such good stuff that would likely kill you! :D

Here's a little help go to that little house thing with leave ceilings and go in it theirs a tier 2 go vertically across the trees next to it and cross the bride and break the leaves in the first tree another tier 2 then do a 180 and you'll reach a place with vines climb that and there's 2 tier 1s then take 5 hearts of fall damage west of the random cobble stone structure you'll get another tier 2 and if you go right there's another tier 1 this route concludes of 3 tier 2s and 3 tier 1s like I said at the top a little help :)
