Project Outline
Hello tributes! As you know we have just hit our 2 year anniversary and boy has our community grown! The community has had good times and it’s recent bad times. As a result of this, to help improve the community and strengthen the bond between the staff and the community, we are introducing the MCGamer Community Focus Groups, or CFGs. This event will be held by myself and KyleD with the help of some other really great staff members.
The main purpose of the event is to strengthen the bonds between staff and community. The way we proposed for this to work is to allow members of the community to come onto TeamSpeak to address problems within the community to the staff in an attempt to collaborate with the staff to make these problems better. This steps aside from technical problems and feature suggestions and dives right into the current affairs. Regular rules such as posting mod apps/ban disputes will be looked aside but genuine problems will be addressed - if you break these rules you will not be allowed in future meetings.
Each session is to be no longer than 2 hours and to be held biweekly(every other week than staff meeting weeks) on the MCGamer TeamSpeak in a channel giving focus group helpers talk power. Pre submission questions/concerns/points will be addressed first followed by live Q&A. A maximum time of 1 hour for each will be provided. All questions/concerns/points will be noted down by a note taker and the sessions will be recorded. Notes will be publicly available and passed directly to Senior Staff in attempt for them to discuss problems addressed in Senior Staff meetings.
A group of staff members have been invited to take part in this event and as such will be the main staff members answering points addressed by the community with help from the Senior Staff. During the live Q&A, people who wish to speak must submit an entry on a form we will provide right before we begin the live Q&A and we will follow an order shown by the document log as a first-come-first-served basis.
We hope to see you all there and hopefully we can begin to call this community a family.
