its not really correct... I don't think a computer needs 7 trillion years to crack a password with 30 1's

At least from what I'd guess, a basic program simply tries every password combination from least characters on. That would mean a bunch of 1's would take a long time to get to.

I did an experiment, I typed in the password 'minecraft' and it said it would take 22 minutes to crack it.
Added a 1 to the end, 10 days. Added a 2 after that, 1 year. A 3 after that, 37 years. 4, 1000 years. 5, 48,000 years. 6, a million years. 7, 63 million years. 8, 2 billion years. 9, 81 billion years. 0, 2 trillion years.

By adding 10 numbers in consecutive order to the end of a fairly straightforward password, I increased the time taken to crack it from 22 minutes to 2 trillion years. o_o
