Chat overflowing!

Sometimes the hub is so jam packed with people the there are so many people typing it is very hard to ask a mod a question and/or talk to other players. The chat is moving way too fast. The mods say please slow down chat but no one listens. Is there a way to fix this. This usually happens in lobby 8 on the us server but it also happens in other lobbies too. I love it when the lobby is crowded because it is a ton of fun but if you cant talk to players it is annoying.

I know it is where the cool kids go but there is still too many people typing you cant even read.

If you need a moderator this bad that you make a thread about it you should know just to poke them on TeamSpeak.

I'm afraid nothing can be done. People are talking, people are obnoxious. It happens and it has to be dealt with. Usually your text is more eye catching if you have donor, but that of course is your choice. Mods will probably more likely listen is your befriend them. You can also poke them on TS.

I am not only talking about talking to mods. It is even very hard to have a normal conversation with people when the hub is crowded and people are typing every 5 seconds. There should be a longer time limit between typing.

You should add them on Skype or something, or ask them to go on the TeamSpeak. Then you'll be able to talk to them without interruptions and meet new people on the TS.

I do go on teamspeak but people do not type a reasonable amount. They spam and type way too much and most of the stuff they type is nonsense.

Those people that talk nonsense are dealt with by staff and you can always help out by reporting abuse, if it is - in fact - abuse.

You can join another channel and mute your sound or make a private conversation with someone. Then no one can interrupt at all!
