Really annoying glitch

Has anyone else been in the middle of a game when you suddenly cant open chests or hurt people. Your body is frozen in one place but on your own screen you can move around. This needs to be fixed cause i have died a lot from this. Its a really annoying glitch and i know it has happened to a couple of my friends as well. Does anyone know a fix for this already or is it a server problem?

If im right this is a Bukkit problem.

This is a glitch within Bukkit, like Candy said, but I've heard it's gotten the name ''The Freecam Glitch''.
As I almost say on every thread I reply to, there's a SEARCH BAR, please use this! As I've seen a couple of threads of this before.

Bukkit + lag.

It's 100% lag, it's not intended so I guess you can classify it as a glitch.

Well all i have to say is everyone kept asking for 1.3

If it's connect it would be them no sending the packets fast enough so on they screen they prance arround but server is still getting the packets saying they haven't moved. Which means your upload speed is slow or slowed.

But could be bukkit, first time i'm hearing about the issue.

I wanted to hang with 1.2.5 until there was a stable version of bukkit.

The thing that happens is it goes back in, if you here it close before you actually close it, the glitch happened.
