Hi guys, MK here bringing you some FnS strats
The Turn n' Light
The is the basic FnS strategy. To perform, simply turn around, light the ground on fire and keep running. Beware of tall grass!
The Bow Fake Out
When your opponent is charging you turn around and charge up your bow, when your enemy gets close enough, quickly swap to your FnS and light the ground on fire.
The Fake Team Fire
Block with your sword to pretend that your trying to team with your enemy, if your enemy is like most people, they will more likely not team with you and charge you, when this happens quickly swap to your FnS and light the ground on fire, your opponent should catch on fire.
The Food Fire
If you're being chased, turn around, pretend to eat something, when your enemy gets close enough, light the ground on fire and your enemy should catch on fire
The Unexpected Fire
This is one of the harder strats to do. When you're being chased, don't sprint jump and allow your opponent to catch up to you, as soon as they're close enough, stop running light the block in front of you on fire and walk backwards, if you performed correctly, the enemy should run into the fire
The Blockhit fire
When you're blockhitting, you have to left and right click at the same time, if your HP gets to about 6 hearts, just look down and quickly swap to your FnS and light the floor on fire, your enemy should also catch fire.
The Jump-fire
This is one of my favorite strat but be careful, if you not performed correctly, you might catch fire yourself. How to perform : When you're being chased, slow down a bit so your chaser can catch up, as soon as they're 5-6 blocks away, jump and light the ground on fire, if you time it correctly, you won't catch fire but they would most likely burn.
Notes :
If you need to burn your items, don't light the ground on fire, instead, shift and right click your FnS on chests, it won't use up a lot of FnS duriability but the fire will still be there on the chest
You should always keep 2 FnS in your hot-bar in case you get chased and don't have time to swap out a new FnS.
You should always try to light the block in-front of you on fire when charging someone if they catch on fire, it will be a big handicap for them.
TALL-GRASS. Tall grass is your biggest enemy if you try to use a FnS. You should try to clear out tall grass before using FnS.
Never hold a FnS in your hand, your enemy will most likely know that you're trying to set them on fire.
How to avoid FnS strats :
To avoid most FnS strats, avoid running directly behind your enemy, instead run diagonally at them. And try to chase near water to avoid FnS.
