Appreciate the staff too

With all the threads being created at the moment about staff not doing their jobs right a certain moderator commented "Why doesn't somebody make a thread appreciating the majority of the staff who do their job(s) correctly"

So I've decided to acknowledge whats his said and do it!

Thank you staff for doing your jobs and what you feel is best for the community. I would like to say some mods that I appreciate for their work done for this community.

in the outside, whenever you see a mod, you really don't understand them: They are probably taking a break, they are probably recording a hacker, checking the forums, etc. However, what we most think from "random moderators" is they are probably slacking instead of doing their job.

Truly, once you become friends with some moderators, you can tell "its not because they don't care" its because they are doing their job at the moment. Even in the clan I'm currently in, we have some moderators and I am putting them as an example; These persons get stressed, which is totally acceptable, however they are most likely to never deny on helping them, e.g record a hacker, kick someone and so on.

Sometimes I seem to notice —something which others clearly don't—, is that moderators aren't robots; they are human. As human they are wanted to be treated kind, and in a subtle manner. "Come here", "Ban him", "Do it quick", you might be desperate, but he isn't your employee.
All in all, once you get to know a moderator personally, you can truly see their aren't slackers, that they do their job. However, lets be honest here... Not all mods do their job at its best, but I'm sure some do try.

If a moderator wants to be outstanding, they shouldn't really have 1-50 messages in the forums: they should at least try and work for 1000.
Dealing with the report abuse section: Shows you care, also shows you are active in the forums and that you can also help in other areas within the community.
Showing you care about others opinions.
These aren't hard working tasks, really. It shows you're a human, you can express yourself, you help others, you have a good times in the forums and also make some friends. Thats just my tips for any good moderator.

From what I have seen the majority of the mods are doing awesome work at the moment. Well done

When I was a mod, I was bad. I always ignored people if I didn't feel like it and the yaddayadda, that was after a few months of course. At first I loved it and responded to everything. Then as time went on it just got too draining. I know many mods who I talked with at the time who did the same thing, lots of the mods do it, and lots of them don't. The ones who try there best will show through and be recognized though, which some do

I think that Avaline is one of the best mods out there currently. She's on very often, and always responds to pokes about hackers, and other cheaters.
