I would like to firstly say this isn't to hate on mcsg's staff.

As you may know shanrrbananrr uploaded a video about how mcsg staff is screwed up (not my opinion). Now, I don't think it's a good idea to start hacking because you don't give a crap about mcsg. Hacking only ruins things for the players. I think that mcsg staff is staying way to hard onto the guidelines. They need more members in more servers. Most rule breakers don't get banned because mcsg relies on the community to report players. Most players don't have the resources or the time to record, upload, and report rule breakers. Maybe the problem is that mcsg is lacking staff? But no, they say they have enough.... The problem here is that the staff on mcsg can't be taught, they don't take constructive criticism when they should. Mcsg, I'm not trying to attack your staff, just trying to help it get better

When did we ever say we have enough staff? We're always hiring, hence why mod apps are open. The Staff here are taught quite well. We have a very strict set of guidelines for staff to be trained by, and to follow. And lastly, we are more than open to criticism. Problem is, 90% of the "criticism" we get on the forums is not constructive because its intent is to degrade staff, or the public's opinion of staff. We do listen. What a lot of people don't understand is that if you have a problem with the staff, you contact us. The majority of the Sr. Staff have emails. Email us or message us on the forums, or even on Teamspeak. We want this to be a fun, fair place for everyone to enjoy. Posting publicly on the forums with a thread that is trying to defame us, instead of help us, will get you nowhere.

Well, I must say thank you for the good manner in which you wrote this.

I must say that you shouldn't generalize all the staff for not talking constructive criticism because its not obviously all of them. Also, because of the way the staff usually gets criticized, it is to be expected they dont take it very nice. I think this is probably one of the few if not the only thread that isnt bashing them constantly.

Also, I think mcsg needs a rule book in the hub so that mcsg staff can spend more time in servers then answering questions in the hub.

They had that in lobbies early on in MCSGv2 after I suggested it, not really sure what happened to it.

I beleive it has one already. Or at least it used to, its been a while since I checked that out.

They had that in lobbies early on in MCSGv2 after I suggested it, not really sure what happened to it.

I really think they should add them back, so staff doesn't have to sit in the hub answering so many questions.

We do have the /rules command, but few know of it, and it's a lot less in-depth as the rules here on the forums, or in the rulebook. I'll talk with the other Sr. Staff when I get the chance, and see if we can reimplement it.

Ooh, so its not there anymore? That's a shame.... I hope they add it back, that might come in hady so players dont go around saying they dont know the rules as an excuse.
