MCSG Development

Hiya guys Kupi here and I have a few questions for the Mcgamer staff and dev team.

my main focus of this thread is about mcsg development and my Opinion on whats a little but wrong.
(Notice that none of this is to say mcsg is bad,that the devs are bad or that mcsg is a horrible server)
Ok so most of the community knows that mcsg is coming out with a new rank called platinum.This rank allows you to fly in lobby and hub,it also lets you type in different colours and also a few other things I think.Anyways besides that feature they are adding a new shop for some kind of in-game currency I believe(correct me if Im wrong).A few other features include hats and pets.

Now that I have listed whats coming out(some ppl don't know)my question is why is mcsg coming out with this stuff when they have promised monthly/weekly leaderboards,new maps,possible clan battle/scrim servers,tf2 and many other features.Keep in mind some of these things have been promised for a long time if I am right(I joined community in august so not 100% sure).

TL;DR; Why is mcsg coming out with all these new things when the promised thing still haven't been done yet.

I talked to Chad at the Sydney meet-up about Platinum and the updates, and I haven't heard of the development of Scrim/CB Servers or Different Leaderboards. The maps are ready they just need to be pushed by Dev, so contact him about that. And TF2 is being worked on, I'm assuming. The Developers have a lot of work to do, and I am pretty sure they are trying to do what they can. All I can say is to be patient, and also; Platinum is being released on the weekend. (I'm not 100% Sure)

Also, there might be some exclusive maps to each region if Chad follows up on that

And I have been playing since v1 so I have a pretty good knowledge of the community and what's going on (I think xD )

Currently I'm working on a major reworking of our core systems to allow for better server efficiency, resolving lag issues, and some ZedChase bugfixes on the side, Rusty is working on MCTF2v2 and some of the new platinum features, subv3rsion is working on another to-be-announced gametype and acts as the lead as some of our recent maintenances, kpwn243 is working on our panel and website, and dv90 is working on resolving any lag issues that are left.
