Someone has to test the new rank. Chad chose these people instead of picking random people. What's wrong with that?

It's better to do it with random people or a contest that EVERYONE can participate in (but of course not everyone will win, but still, everyone will have the chance to participate in) rather than giving it to people that had the money to go there or that live there.

That's your opinion and I respect that. However, what's the chances that these random people will just abuse their rank? There's less of a chance of that if the person selected to test was dedicated enough to even show up, or check Chad's Twitter.

In my opinion it wouldn't be much good to pick random people because if we do it this way the only the dedicated people will get to test it. Also it's a secret rank so it makes sense only AU gets it.
EDIT: What I mean is that US and EU are extremely large so it makes no sense to release a secret there.

The people that went to the meet up to get platinum rank should have a free trial... And once it's finished, they would be able to buy it, just like all the other players would have to do because they weren't able to make it for whatever reason
