FISHING RODS?

So I've heard a couple things about fishing rods not working anymore or something crazy like that. If someone could inform me on what's going on and what the bukkit update did to them, that would be much appreciated. Thanks, swiitch

I have heard it is bukkit and also that it is Mojang but basically once you use a rod/bow/possibly place a block not 100% you must wait about 1.5-2 seconds before any of your hits register for some stupid reason I hope mcsg has a way to fix this I put it in my thread you read :3

This bugs me, I thought mcsg and minecraft as a whole was supposed to be moving forward in progress not backwards.

How it works is a 1.2 second delay before u can hit after moving through.slots into your hotbar removing rod pvp and quick switching fns for pvp.

I think I've been realizing when I do a quick flint and steel the fire gets put out automatically and I can't hit people sometimes. This is something that in my opinion and I'm sure many others opinions think this should be fixed cause this is just ruining a lot

wat. i had a $500 pc getting 40 fps on low settings, $13 mouse and a dell keyboard and i hotkey'd well and i got 300+ wins.

They are good with the rod not because how much money they had, but how much they practiced it. Same with every other weapon in mc, sure it can give you slight advantages when it comes down to gear , but in the end it's how much time you spend, not money.

lol. I have a acer laptop and a walmart mouse with nothing to improve my performance with using items. i use the hotkeys on my laptop keyboard just fine, I get like 3o fps and I go thuggin with my rod. I think you just need to learn how to use it.
