I think the easy solution would be for people to stop over reacting so much.
You're honestly only causing more problems for yourself by making it into such a big deal. Leave the game, and let it go. People only do it to egg people on, and make them mad, so don't give them the reaction they want.
Some people need to get over themselves and stop seeking attention from making such a big deal over it, and just let it go. Additionally, in light of recent events, stop using it to make excuses to say even worse things.
'GG' means what you make it mean. Stop making it into such a terrible term, and just take it lightly and let it go.
Someone could say "Good Game, friends! I really had a lot of fun playing today!" and people would still find a way to make a big stink over it, and say that it was 'sarcastic', or pick out the smallest things to twist their words.
People are just looking for something to be dramatic about.
If we do this, people will find something else to have a hissy fit over, and we may as well remove chat altogether with that notion.
