I'd never thought I'd be doing on of these but, considering I've returned to MCSG from a 4 month hiatus. I think its time I should do one of these.
It all started off, in June 2013. I used to play on my brothers account a lot and I decided to make an account of my own, thus Jam_Joenut was born. I enjoyed watching videos from people like Antvenom, SkydoesMinecraft and GizzyGazza. Their Survival Games Videos were awesome and I had never laughed so much in my life. This inspired me to come on MCSG and have fun, Ironically when I first started playing MCSG I made my account only 5 hours beforehand so I lost every single game. I'm a huge fan of both the novels and the films, and whats a better way of having fun than playing on Minecraft-Styled Hunger Games with a brilliant community.
What really kicked off my story was when I applied for moderator in September, I initially got denied due to insufficient detail in the application, I was shocked to realise that you need at least 1000-2000 words for it to sufficient enough. However, when I was finally accepted I was put into the Waiting Room where we I met some truly amazing people. These guys were mainly: thejambd, Sean, Zainnyyy, 123456789matrty, roguehh, DracoHD and a few others. Every Saturday we would completely annihilate people by creating 8-man teams, and thus #WaitingSquad was formed. The best moment by far was when the 8 of us were playing on Tewerren Survival Games 2 and I discovered that some guy to have a very offensive name, obviously I can't say it on the forums, but thejambd mentions it in one of his videos. The reaction was simply priceless, everyone couldn't stop laughing for about 1 hour afterwards and the player was consequently permanently banned. A lot of us would then form the clan Allegiance and we won our first clan battle match within 3 rounds which was a major accomplishment.
Unfortunately however I was denied during the Interview in December, this was completely my fault and deeply regret making E-Drama over the waiting times. I would of been a moderator If I wasn't an idiot to be impatient about the situation. I eventually took a 4 month break due to A Level Work catching up on me, but now I'm back! I would love to replay these moments again over the coming months, although I'll be on and off due to exams soon. I can't believe Draco and Sean are now Sr. Mods, its mental how many things can change within 4 months of taking a break.
Overall, although the highs and the lows, it has been an amazing experience with MCSG. I appoligise if I've missed anyone out, but I hopefully will apply for moderator again after my exams, I'll just have to see how things turn out.
