Amd is the bang if the buck for budget computers. Get a fx 6300, some 100 $ mobotherboard, 4 gb ram, ssd or hdd, nzxt source 210, cooler master t4, and like a gtx 750 ti, or even 750

If you're feeling like getting ripped off, you can always get the macbook air for $1000, you get 100 fps with optifine.

If I were you I'd save up a bit longer to get a better power supply and motherboard. The build you have there will run Minecraft absolutely fine, although like I said I'd invest in a better PSU, motherboard and CPU for minecraft.

id recomend save up 300 or so more and you can actually build a rather godly pc at 800, where as 500 your forced to skimp alot
