SAT Preparation

Kinda off topic but not really - I want to work in computer technology, so obviously an Ivy League degree is a great way to start out in a job. I'm thinking of applying for Stanford, because it's I'm California where silicon valley is. Is this a good/realistic idea? Are there any other good universities you'd recommend? Also I haven't made this clear, I'm aiming for a scholarship because my family isn't the wealthiest of families.

It depends how adept in this stuff you already are. For that kind of school you need like a 3.8+ to get into a school like that as well as a fantastic SAT and even a sports reason. You are applying as an academic, but you need to show off your other talents as well. I recommend possibly Yale, good sciences programs there... there is one in New York City but I can't remember its name. Huahwi and Lovelights go there I think.

I already have a scholarship at a great private school in Australia, one of the best coed boarding schools in the world. I reckon I'm good enough for now, considering I can do well on Sat practices now xD I'll look into Yale and watch Huahwi's videos because I know he lives in NYC c:

Mate my cousin goes to Uni in Geelong. Even tho I live in the US my dad was born in Wagga Wagga. Near Mangopla.
Edit: I know where Melbourne is btw. I got a scholar ship to Riverview in Sydney but i decided to stay in the US.

If you're thinking Stanford, good luck. They're a hard college to get into. I would recommend that you also look into Purdue University. They are much cheaper, granted they are not an Ivy League school. That said, Purdue does have a really good computer science/computer engineering program.
