I just want to show my point of view and what can you do to avoid it!
- GG.
Okay, two letters; GG. How can that hurt you? Well, it all depends to the meaning you have given to it. Wether GG stands for "Good Game" or "Gossip Girl", take the fun side of it. Since I realized GG is for "Gossip Girl" too, it barely bothers me —Maybe try that too?
- If things continue like this, could these two letters, GG, become something MCGamer will have to filter?
Lets be honest here… GG probably will never be filtered. Mostly because, if a word that contains two "g's" between the word, the whole word would be censored —And could get annoying—, but also because theres yet no point to filter it. Not that its hard filtering this word, just theres yet not enough reason to do so. Its just a game, and being competitive is part of it; however, the way you take GG as, goes through each person.
- You choose, take GG as "Gossip Girl", or take it as "Good Game"?
If any of y'all, when you died in other games and it said in the end "Game Over", did you ever really rage at it? Of course not, probably because you could just start again from your saving point, now, have you ever though you could do so in The Survival Games? Well, at this point, every time you die, you can just start a new match in a new lobby and do better than your last time —rather than raging for dying, specially from someone who said GG, just think positively for your next game, think its a new start and throughout all, think you will do better. (All this paragraph is much pointless if you actually do rage at "Game Over" )
- Is it possible to report someone for abuse by saying GG?
Yes, actually! Lets put it like this: Some guy says GG to you and you take a screenshot. Then in the next game, you tell him to not continue to say GG, yet he continues. You take a screenshot. Theoretically, and according MCGamer rules, if you tell someone to stop calling you something, yet he continues and you have the evidence you can report him. The rule being broke would be Harassment.
I could be wrong here, but its clearly said in the rules you can't harass and, doing this would be harassment — but not sure if MCGamer would take it as harassment even when, you do have evidence of you telling him to stop, yet he continuing saying something you don't like for him to tell you.
(then again, if this isn't breaking the rules, which should be, then its not possible... ha.)
- Why is there a big polemic for GG?
From all the threads and comments I have seen, players just seem to rage and rage, in a nonsense way. However, I feel they just don't remember they have simply ignore it and obviously neither take a fun side of GG. The day you learn to ignore others comments, I bet you'd have the most fun of this game.
- As EZ is related to GG, is it a bad thing too?
Absolutely. I've seen in some servers, such as The Hive, were someone someone said it and was told to not be rude, by a mod. EZ could possibly be the most blatant insult between gamers. But again, its just two letters. I personally, for it all, avoid using this. Could make someone feel sad D:
However, keep in mind. Both abbreviations mean nothing wrong, but for respect I feel they shouldn't be used.
To conclude, give your own meaning to these two abbreviations. Exiting Zoo (EZ), Gorilla Glue (GG), you choose your own meaning. Remember, these both abbreviations can be ignored and in advanced, if someone is harassing you with these two abbreviations and you tell him to stop, you can sure report them.
Just wanted to point out my view about all these threads and all this riot people make for some simple gamers slang.
Now, if you want, down below comment what meaning would you put to GG or any of these type of slang?
