Hi, uhm... This is kinda odd, since this isn't a Tech Forum or anything, but I figured I'd try here anyways. It's not MC-related so I'm putting it in off-topic, although it can affect me when I'm playing MC. (Or any other game)

I get this message several times in a few hours. It happens at completely random times, even with nothing plugged in, running, or anything else (except the power cord)
If I'm playing a video game or on the forums, it'll sometimes pop up and force me to minimize the game - because I simply cannot avoid it, as it automatically tabs out.
I have a laggy, old computer, so.. well, let's just say I've died more than once because of this. Or rather, a few hundred times.

Any idea what could cause this, how I could fix this? I've done google searches, looked at my settings, and did searches within my computer and whatnot, and I've turned up nothing.

Did you check your devices list? Maybe there's a device on your computer that you didn't know of...

I did not read that as "ejecting" at first.
I don't think I want to know. Oh. wait. Aussie just told me. .-. I SWEAR THIS IS A SERIOUS THREAD ABOUT SOMETHING THAT IS GIVING ME SERIOUS COMPUTER ISSUES

Thanks, I'll do that now.

Alright, tell me if you find anything.
Okay, well, I went through all of my devices and whatnot, and I found absolutely nothing with that name, or anything similar. I had also previously done some similar searches.
I suggest that you check your DVD slot in you hard drive. If there is a disk in there remove of it.
Nope, empty. I have no SD Cards, USB devices, or discs. (etc)

I also recall something about it saying that it's a hard drive (I think I only have one, it's a laptop.) that it's trying to eject a few times, however I haven't gotten that message yet today so I wasn't able to screenshot it and I don't remember the exact details.
also, I can get the message multiple times in a row (That is, I can leave my computer on and they'll sometimes stack, so I have to close 2 or 3 of them. They don't appear at the same time, though.)
This device is known as an ATA port driver for Windows. Go to this link for information and help:http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/ff551332(v=vs.85).aspx It is often installed using a disk or flash drive.
Thanks, I'll look into that as well.
