People don't really call me a noob. Anyone with a brain cell will stat someone before making accusations such as that. If they don't, it's very easy to retaliate, pointing out to them that your stats don't reflect those of a 'noob'. After I've flawed their argument they rarely attempt to reciprocate; If they do it's of no relevance, and isn't worth replying to. That's how I go about things, at least. :p

If you need to make a thread about this, where you also brag in a way about your national medals, then I think you're taking this a little too seriously.

It's great to excercise and all that, but please! Don't start accusing others for "not having a life" or "not doing something with their lives". That makes you seem like the worse person. I go out jogging trice a week and have never sported or anything like that, and I feel FANTASTIC every time I wake up and go to sleep.

This guy is right; however, just be sure that you don't accuse everyone that they have no life. You don't know that no one here does anything active, and even if they have a lot of hours on MCSG there is no telling what they do outside of playing on their computers. I personally play Golf, Tennis, and enjoy doing photography. That said I have also played a total of over one week on MCSG. This is not meant to be offensive in any way of course. I once played MCSG for more than I should have, but do it in moderation now.

If I'm in a bad mood, I threaten someone who doesn't deserve it with physical harm. It's a bad habit I'm trying to get rid of. Any tips there?

Also, for some reason, whenever I'm playing MCSG and someone uses a smiley face, :D or xD, I always take it sarcastically, think they're somehow attempting to degrade me, and end up flying off the handle. Whenever you see me using the -,- or >.< emoticons, it means I'm usually trying not to swear at you.

Whenever I've entered rage mode in SG, the only thing I've found thus far that helps calm me down is listening to music [mainly happy Owl City tracks). Does anyone know any bio-feedvack or breathing exercises or something that might help me at the computer screen? Getting up and walking out of the room feels like defeat. My natural instinct is to fight back. Any more relaxation techniques (while staying in your seat) are welcome.
Try taking a deep breath and realize that you're probably getting mad at a nine year old, who doesn't realize that they're making you angry.

I know a Steve, choate23, with 0 wins out of 700+ games. I don't call him a noob. Instead of calling someone a noob, pull them aside in-game and teach them a few tricks. I usually start by taking them on my chest route off spawn, then showing them blockhitting, then the infinite fishing rod trick, then f&s, then do a check for Skype. Even if they don't have a means of verbal communication, it's still a nice gesture and makes them more likely to recommend their RL friends to the servers.

No one's stats are newbie. Hmph! :p

Nice :p The word noob has been used for so long in the two years I've been playing, it's lost meaning to me; I think it all originates for 'newbie', which would mean new to the game. So, people playing their first few games would be a newbie. Nowadays, people kinda just use it as another way of saying 'you're bad' in my opinion. xD And as well as making them more likely to recommend the server, you'll be making them better at the game. :D

You tell them:

'I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you stop calling me a nub now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.'
