Well me and her live on total opposite sides of the country. She lives in Melbourne and I live in Perth (Australia).
So we had just concluded a skype call, and We talked for a bit after. I talk to her for a bit until she brought up 'online dating' I said I had never done it before. And she said okay, It continued until I was basically saying I liked her, a lot. This is the concluding sentences -
"What do I have to do to make you mine?"
"The only thing you have to do is ask."
"[Name], do you want to be my girlfriend? c:"
"Yes, I would like that."
And I can happily say we have almost been dating for 3 weeks, and our bond hasn't gone down since. c:

Okay, Long ass story time.
So there was this girl, right?
You liked her a lot.
She had problems with self-harm, depression, anxiety, etc, but you loved her regardless. You guys spent the whole summer together, going to movies, swimming, whatever happened, happened. But you weren't sure if she liked you back.

So one, day, August 5, 2013, you and her went to a fair.
Rides, food, the whole shabang.
It was terrible.
It was raining.
She was sick.
You were Dizzy.
But...
It got better.
The sun came out, the birds were flying, and you both decided to make the most of the day.
You got on one ride, the Fireball.
This thing is HUGE.
It swings like a pendelum, and also rotates.
Cray AFFF.
Yeah so you get on and you're really feeling it, you know that you love her so much and you decide to just do it and you go for it and you grab her hand and you don't let go because this is the happiest you've ever felt in your entire life.
And on the car ride home you both fall asleep on each other because you're so tired and happy.
And when you get back to your house you're on your computer and she leans over on your bed and puts her head on her shoulder and that's when you know, THAT's when you know she loves you too.
She has to go home, but that's okay because you're going to skype later and when you do she asks the question the forsaken question but you answer it because you've been wanting to say it for so long and you say, "I love you."
And that's it.
That's how it started.
And then you have some rough patches some hard times but you keep going and you're still going strong today.
That's how I asked my girlfriend ;D
