A New Mine Map!

This map almost looks exactly like Lost Mine.
Yeah, the spawn does, and obviously it is in a mine. If you want to see the rest of the map in action, I'm hosting a test game on the server we built this on on Saturday. If you want to play you can message me on here. :D

I was kind of going for that. The point of the map was to pay tribute to all those maps I enjoyed in my beginning days of MCSG. Back in the MCSG v1 days.
I mean, you kinda copied the map. I honestly didn't like that map because it was too crowded.

I downloaded and here are my thoughts:
  1. Too many long boring 2x1 tunnels.
  2. Waaaayyyy to many chests. There was one room with like 8 chests and 2 double chests.
  3. Copied off of Lost Mines, and the Master Sword was copied from Demons Breeze
  4. The diamond pick with knockback III will be considered OP and will be removed. (to get it you shoot the button with a bow, for people that don't know)
  5. The map is obviously built in three days, and does not have the kind of quality a MCSG map should have. Most maps take weeks if not months to make.
  6. This map is too complex and is seriously like a maze, it took me 5 minutes to find corn again flying around in creative.

1. Those are the tunnels with secrets ;)
2. The only room with that many chests is hidden very well.
3. Inspired. AND if you read the thread it CLEARLY says MCSG reference (Hobostick)
4. That was removed in the updated version.
5. Most maps take a lot of detailing, interior designing, and and terraforming. This we had to build mines with VoxelSniper and add tunnels and secrets. Its not going to take months for that with lots of builders and talented builders. ALSO if you want to use that arguement, Icarus and Moonbase were built in 2 days each.
6. If the "tunnels are 2x1" how do you get lost. You literally have to turn around and walk back.

Before you try to call me out on this and give me reasons why the map is bad, learn about the map and don't be a Inappropriate body part on a male. Imagine if you worked hard on something and I came over to your forums page and told you to get a moderator to delete it because it looked bad in my eyes. Why would you want that to happen to you? I have a lot of pride in that and a lot of memories go into that map making experience. If you have any POSITIVE feedback, let me know. Other than that, have a nice day please.

3. Inspired is fine, as long as you make it your own. Several players have also said that it looks a lot like Lost Mines. Too much IMO.
Example:
You said this map is kinda like Solar Frost. The fact that you changed the theme, yet the style is similar is fine. Since you made it your own.
4. Then upload your updated version
5. Icarus and Moonbase were built by Redforest and Team Elite, which are massive build teams. You had only a few people. If they worked all day for two days, yes they could get it done with all the members they have.
6. Because there is no reference point other than stone walls, no sense of direction. So when you come out at a new area, you don't know where it is from spawn.

This was meant to be constructive feedback. Next time I will just tell you your map rocks to make you happy. I never asked for a moderator to delete it. Positive feedback, spawn looks cool. (no joke) My day has been great. :)
Edit: If you put another few days into this, it could be a good map.
Another Edit: I was treating it like a map that is applying to be an MCSG map, and comparing it to the standards. I don't believe it currently meets them, but like I said, with a little more work maybe it could.

Thanks, that's a bit better, but what room are you talking about in number 2? The one I'm talking about is in lava.

EDIT: I'm thinking about scrapping this project and starting a new build. Aparently no one is happy with this map. Time to think of a new theme ;-;
